“And He subjected for you the sun and the moon, continuous [in orbit], and subjected for you the night and the day. And He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favor [i.e., blessings] of Allaah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful (Kafura).” (Quran, 14th Surah, verse 32.34)
“Therefore, remember Me (by praying, glorifying, etc.). I will remember you, and be grateful to Me (for My countless Favors on you) and never be ungrateful to Me (TaKfurun).” (Quran 2:152)
{I will lie and wait for them (human beings) on your straight way. Then I will assault them from in front of them and behind them, from their right and their left. And You will not find, in most of them, gratitude (for your mercies)’} (Qur'an 7:16-17)
And when your Lord made it known: If you are grateful, I would certainly give to you more, and if you are ungrateful (Kafartum), My chastisement is truly severe. (Quran, 14:7)
To Most people, the word Kafir, refers only to Non-Muslims and Disbelievers...But according to the Quran, it also refers to one who is Ungrateful to Allah.
The Shaitan, upon swearing to mislead Adam and his Offspring, promised, that he would make us "ALL UNGRATEFUL" and that if God gave us anything, he would make us blind of it. He promised to make us, blind of all of God's blessings, and Allah says, if we desired to count, all of his BLESSINGS, we would not be able to.
The First of which being, LIFE.
One of the many ways to be ungrateful to Allah is disobedience, another is disregarding his guidance. Allah promises that if he blesses you, and each blessing is a test, if you will be grateful, and if you are, ALLAH PROMISES TO GIVE YOU EVEN MORE!
and in the end, when you are thankful, you are thankful for your own good..
He says [translation of meaning: “And He is not pleased with ingratitude "KUFR" in His servants; and if you are grateful, He is pleased with this in you.” [Sûrah al-Zumar: 7]
So, Be thankful and Be aware of Kufr.....
